MADRID, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Tuesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.2 percent, or 19.50 points, to close at 9,637.40 points.

A total of 16 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.

Infrastructure company Acciona advanced 2.42 percent, followed by Spain's energy company Gas Natural and Infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas that rose 1.62 percent and 1.46 percent respectively.

Airline group IAG lost 3.54 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa went down 2.17 percent and chemical and pharmaceutical company Grifols dropped 1.80 percent. Enditem
